“Carved” is the proposal design for the high-end jewelry store. The main goal of this design was to mimic the uniqueness and mystery of canyons, caves, rocks, and eventually precious gems. The beauty of geological forms and their exotic shapes became the essential inspiration for the “Carved” design. Customers and employees can experience from the beginning the feeling of entering more than the jewelry store. The two contrasting masses are separated by the visible break that is continuous through the space of store. The break on the ceiling divides the space and eventually organizes it along the axis. The division of the space simplifies and limits the amount of curves created by metaphoric water. “Carved” design represents the attributes of high-end jewelry store. The design of the store invites customers of all generations to offer various ranges of products and services. The metaphoric essence of the canyon carries the excitement and mystery. The earth-tone colors and halogen downlights creates an unusual atmosphere that changes shopping into experience.
